More From the ProLife Front...
As a follow up to the article on Planned Parenthood's substandard and faulty condoms, I thought I would point you to this article, one which includes the following:
Here are some examples: In several abstinence-only programs, students are erroneously told that condoms fail to protect against HIV and that pregnancy occurs one out of every seven times that couples use a condom. One textbook states that touching another person's genitals "can result in pregnancy." Another suggests that 5% to 10% of women who have legal abortions will become sterile as a result. In actuality, a lot of that is true (with the exception of the "touching" bit). If Planned Parenthood's condoms are really that bad, then yes, they can break - especially when used by homosexuals. Further, it is a fact that youth who use condoms are just as likely not to use them. It is also true that abortions lead to sterility, especially when repeated. Of course, what Planned Parenthood wants to do is allow schools to pass out as many condoms as possible, not teaching abstinence at all. The alternative is plainly absurd, as parodied by the movie Mean Girls (which all of you should definitely rent). The Sex Ed instructor tells the class about various diseases and STDs following everything with "... and you will die." Then he passes out condoms. The line is definitely worth seeing: "Don't have sex, because you will get pregnant and die! Don't have sex in the missionary position, don't have sex standing up, just don't do it, ok, promise? OK, now everybody take some rubbers."
You see, anything other than abstinence education is misleading, carrying on the great lie of "safe sex" and leading American youth (oh, why be exclusive? ahem - all youth - worldwide) down the rabbit hole of promiscuity and the complete devaluation of human life. So, is contraception tied to abortion? You tell me!
