Jon Jenkins and I, along with Dave Madison, had dinner with the renowed Master Liturgist of the Episcopal Church, Father Marion Hatchett. This was dinner and drinks for about 3 and a half hours with a man who constructed the lion's share of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. It was a true privilege.

So I've done it, I'm an official eBay seller. I have to give them due credit for putting together a idiot-proof system.

Played some great old spirituals today in Church... had a great time. "Old Rugged Cross" and "Standin' in the Need of Prayer" and "Go Down Moses."

While I was in West Bend yesterday, I broke down and did it. My first coffee maker. I've been trying french press for the last year, and it works OK, but with varying results. I had been waiting for this one to go on sale, and it did - for fifty bucks.

Today, I looked one more time at a fairly nice Jeep, for which I'm thinking about putting together an offer. While being far from practical, it is a good deal, and would probably be worth a shot. The only other issue is whether or not it is overly obtrusive for a seminarian to drive. I think this is a valid critique, but, on the other hand Hondas with similar mileage (and nowhere near the space and fun) go for the same price, if not more. Pictures are posted here.

I saw this article today. I love using the iTunes music store, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep all the music I've bought so far. What's really strange about all of this is that I have to wonder personally if this is even legal, knowing it's possible. If it is, I could make a heck of a lot of money. The auction is posted here.
